If you have come this far, it is time to review what happened in your childhood and your history to give you this need. It is born when we are children, we are afraid of the unknown and we need to seek security; fear has settled in you.
It is time to review what happened in your childhood, in your history, to understand why you have this need to control absolutely everything. It is born when we are children, because we are afraid of the unknown and we need security and certainty in our environment.
Fear has settled in you, and from then on, your need to control has taken hold in your life. You need to control situations, circumstances, people, to feel that there is someone on your side. You may have grown up with a sense of emotional vulnerability and have this need to control to avoid feeling exposed or hurt.
If you have experienced mistreatment, abuse or bullying, control is undoubtedly part of your life in the face of all these possible threats. Your guides, teachers and beings of light tell you that this is over, it is over. It is time to let go of vulnerability, lower your defenses and allow yourself to flow in life. It sounds easy, but this requires self-love, trust and looking at your history.
You have learned to plan, anticipate and manage to avoid suffering. However, perhaps what you have more of is suffering because of the fear of something getting out of control. You have learned that you cannot be overwhelmed, because as a child you had traumatic experiences or events that got out of hand, and your only way to survive was through control.
This has made you a perfectionist, with high standards to avoid failure or mistakes. You are very good at managing and that's great, as long as it doesn't limit you or keep you in emotional insecurity, lack of confidence. But, above all, remember that if you are using control in your life it is because a part of you wants to feel powerful, and control makes you feel that temporary sense of mastery over circumstances.
Both you and I know it's not real, it's temporary, and when it's gone, you feel tiny and fragile. Then, it's back to square one. Your guides and teachers are inviting you today to recognize that need to control, where it comes from, where it is in you, so you can let it go. Maybe it is time to work on acceptance, develop your emotional flexibility and recognize that those traumatic experiences are over, and now you are an adult with the ability to flow in life.
In your hands you have multiple tools that will allow you to enter into this emotional journey. They ask you: What are you attaching yourself to? What is it that is not matching your expectations? Because when you become aware of this detail, a large part of you calms down, and by understanding why you are in control, a part of the problem fades away.
Now it's time to learn to distance yourself and detach from those expectations. Let's free ourselves from the idea of controlling everything and at the same time, make room in life for growth, rebirth, new opportunities, new learning. Remember that life is a magical journey.
So, let's embrace together the magic of letting go of control and embracing life to the fullest. Let us allow ourselves to flow with the dance of the universe and find true peace and serenity every step of the way. Together we create a world of acceptance and unconditional love!
