Today, your ancestors make a profound call for you to welcome distress with love and gratitude. Recognize that it has been playing its protective role, and now you are ready to manage these emotions. You may begin to recognize them, but don't worry if you don't; what matters is that you have grown and can face whatever is arising.
Acknowledge the emotion hiding behind the distress and tell it that its time has passed. Thank the circumstances that have triggered these distresses as they allow you to release long-standing issues.
