Knowing how to deal with Toxic people

Yesterday afternoon on my way home, I read in THE Very Interesting magazine this article on "The Art of Dealing with Toxic People " which I found interesting, concise and quite simple to understand some types of relationships we establish.

It is a schematic perspective that allows us to see the different types of toxic people that we can encounter throughout life; although it is a look to the outside (The toxic, it seems that it is the other), I think a good reflection is to read the article seeing where we are, asking ourselves questions like:

Am I a toxic person?

When you hear from an acquaintance: "I'm not saying this to criticize you", it may mean that deep down their intention is to skin you and, by the way, to sink you into misery. It does not matter whether your success is the fruit of your work or of your talent. Napoleon Bonaparte said that envy is a declaration of inferiority. However, as with the stupid, the envious person can be a very dangerous enemy. The driving force is an irrepressible desire to destroy the one who has achieved triumph and excellence. Not everyone fits the same pattern.

Among toxic people, there are arrogant people who rub their supposed superiority on us, hostile people who verbally abuse us, despots who overrule us at work, psychotic people who put us in danger or neurotic people who ruin our lives. Although they present different psychological profiles, they all have two common characteristics: they are manipulative and intractable. It is only through experience that some people are able to detect them in time and avoid contact with them.

My interest is not to copy all the text of the magazine, so I share here the most toxic profiles according to this report by Fernando Cohen from Muy Interesante Magazine. ( Click on the picture to read the

I am sure that every day we meet profiles of this style. Sometimes it's our parents, our bosses, friends, partners... but maybe it's ourselves, who sometimes acquire the most toxic role for us, it's what we learned, it's what we've seen.

I am sure that by exploring, you will find that you identify with some of them. Now, why act from that toxicity?

Thank you for reading and sharing.
