What to do after a family constellation?

After a family constellation, one of the main questions people ask themselves is, "What should I do next?" In this video, I will share with you some simple keys that I have acquired over my 20 years of experience in family constellations.

Family constellations are a powerful healing tool that can have a profound impact on your life. However, it is essential to understand that the process of healing and growth does not stop at the end of the constellation. In fact, what you do after the session is just as important, if not more important, in integrating the revelations and transformations you have experienced.

What to do after a family constellation?

After a constellation, take some time to reflect on some key questions:

  • What emotions did I experience during the family constellation?
  • Were there any important revelations or insights I gained from the constellation?
  • How has my perspective or understanding of family issues changed after the constellation?

Here are some steps you can take after a constellation to support your healing process:

  • Being in the Adult and in the Present Moment: Healing work is strengthened when you stay in the present and from an adult perspective, rather than reacting from the inner child.

  • Accept Reality from the Adult**: Accept reality as it is from the adult perspective. This will help you release unrealistic expectations and embrace the truth.

  • Respect and Appreciate**: Respect and appreciate what has been revealed in the constellation. Each revelation is a step toward healing.

  • Explore Emotions: Allow yourself to feel and explore the emotions that arose during the constellation. This can help you release emotional blocks.

  • Reflect: Keep a journal where you can record your thoughts, feelings and observations after the constellation. This will help you assimilate what you have experienced.

  • Seek Support**: Talk about your experience with trusted friends or family members if you feel comfortable doing so. Sharing can ease emotions and give you understanding.

  • Follow the Facilitator's Recommendations: Follow the guidelines provided by the family constellation facilitator for the post-session period, as they are designed to support your healing process.

  • Self-Care Practices: Take time to take care of yourself physically and emotionally. Relaxation exercises, meditation and other activities can help you maintain balance.

  • Don't Make Important Decisions Right Away**: If the constellation has given you a new perspective on some aspect of your life, don't make important decisions right away. Allow yourself a period of reflection.

  • Therapy**: Not because the constellation was unfinished, but because we wish to continue to move forward in our relationship with ourselves, our family system of origin, our ancestors, our destiny and the great soul. *If you feel you need additional support in your holistic healing process or wish to further explore your family constellations, we invite you to schedule a session.

*Constellations mark a profound shift and require time and space to fully develop.

  • Be Patient: Healing and change take time. Trust the process and be patient with yourself.

If you feel you need additional support in your holistic healing process or wish to further explore your family constellations, we invite you to schedule a session.
